An eventful couple of days

Happy Halloween to everyone. We spent over $40 on halloween candy, 'cause everyone told us that we should expect at least 150 kids. We had 21. And a LOT of leftover candy. We enjoyed ourselves, though. Everyone dressed up, and Jai's costume was scary enough to make the first little kid cry. Oops, now we know for next year.

Then today, my new scrollsaw came. It's beautiful, and huge. I haven't really had time to try it out, but I did a test cut on it, and I can tell I'm going to love it. I can hardly wait to get on it.

And tonight we had our curling lesson. It was so much fun, everyone loved it. By the end of 2-1/2 hours, all of us had had a couple of shots that actually went where we wanted them to. So Jai and I are signing up for the Monday night leaugue. We have our first game coming up this Monday, so I think we'll need to practice a little. I am going to be SORE tomorrow as it is! Andrew, our local bartender calls it curler's crotch. It's almost as bad as it sounds, although I'm feeling curler's knee and curler's thighs and curler's ankle and curler's toes as well. Here's some shots of us struttin our stuff.
