Love and other Roadside Attractions

Hello Again! We've had an excellent week visiting with Jai's parents, who drove down from Ontario. It was a super nice visit!

We went out this weekend to the South Shore, to see Mahone Bay and do tourist-y type things.
Here's some of my infamous car window shots - as you can see, it was a gorgeous day!

We finally made it to see Moorings Gallery, where we have a small selection of pieces available for sale. It's a gorgeous gallery, and I'm super happy to be part of it.

Plus, I saw a ton of art I would love to buy for my own house, especially this Lion by Andrea Flockhart. Love!!!!!!!!

Speaking of love, Jai's Mom works at a sewing store, and she brought me out a new sewing machine. I haven't had a lot of time to be on it, but last night I sat down and whipped together a little giraffe for Griffin. It's a little wobbly, but he doesn't mind at all.

Today, it's back to just the two of us. I think Griffin's wondering where everybody went! He's doing a good job of hiding it, though, as long as we keep moving.

And I'll leave you with these gorgeous Van Gogh-esque sunflowers that I picked up at a roadside stand in Granville Ferry.

Is baby G. trying to take flight in that second-to-last photo?!!

I love that lion too; I'll have to check out that shop soon :-)

Look at you - a new Giraffe already, he is really cute and I'm sure Griffin thinks so too. Had a great time with you last week and we made it back without incident. Was a rather wet and dreary day yesterday but not a bad drive. Give our little man a hug from Grandma and Grandpa, miss you.
