Little Updates

Hello Again.  It's lupin season here, and I haven't posted any pictures of lupins yet.  What an oversight!  The truth is, I didn't really get any pictures of lupins this year, except for this one, which I took at the Farmer's Market last weekend.  So you'll have to wait until next year to see rolling fields of lupins again.  Oh well - something to look forward to.

Also, it's peony season.  I couldn't resist bringing one inside - they are just so gorgeous!  I was reading Amy Rubin's blog (the forgotten things, see link on right) and she compared lupins to toddlers - they both have these huge heads on skinny little necks that can barely support them.  I thought that was a lovely image.  Griffin still can't hold his head up on his own, but he is starting to hold it steady for a minute or two at a time, which is pretty exciting (to me, at least!)
Jai and I were having fun making Griffin wear pants on his head.  I think he kind of liked it, and what's the point in having kids if you don't get to dress them up in ridiculous clothes once in a while?

My Grandparents came up for one last visit to the Valley before they return home to BC.  We took them over the mountain to see Hampton Beach and the amazing tides of the Bay of Fundy.

Here's three generations of beautiful women ;)

And four generations of men, celebrating Father's Day.

Once again, it was so nice to see them, and fun to have them meeting Griffin.
He's doing really well.  I know he's still really little, but it sure seems like he is growing fast (like a weed, as my Grandma would say.)  I literally feel like I can feel him getting heavier in my arms.
