It's a Major Award!

Hey, I've been meaning to share this video for a little while now! My friend Andre filmed it for Club 400, and I just love it!

Also, we just got some exciting news today... Unbeknownst to us (how often do you get to use that word?!) my name, as well as the names of the two other Moms who helped me get the playground built, was submitted for an award with Recreation Nova Scotia, and we won! The Executive Director of Recreation Nova Scotia called me today to tell me. It's the Bluenose Achievement Award. There's an Awards Banquet in Halifax, and everything. I'm supposed to work at the library that night, and I don't know if I'll be able to get out of it, but still... that's pretty cool.

Yeah....Congratulations Lauren, and your friends!! What great news! Thanks for sharing the video and your award with all of us. This will inspire many to follow your lead in their own small communities. The next question is, "What's next?" Hugs...xxA/J

That's amazing news! I was showing your video to Ayla and was all like, "You see that playground? My cousin built that!" Obviously that's not the whole story but it's fun to put it that way :)

Congratulations Lauren!!!

Love,

Connor

p.s. You may be seeing somebody new on etsy soon... ;)

Congratulations! That's fantastic. If I had my own awards to give out, you totally would get one from me, too. :)

That is the BEST award name ever. I hope it's a trophy or wall plaque, and I hope you get to go to Halifax to enjoy the banquet, you deserve it!
