Ooh! I love this Lauren! What a lovely misty fairy tale look it has, and I love the way you made it look like a child's drawing with Pen's name in the bottom corner in what looks like crayoned handwriting. Great job! Thanks so much for entering - and Pen will be thrilled :)

ReplyDeleteI love the bright colors and the cotton candy smoke! Great job, Lauren!
ReplyDeleteEvery house should have lollipops by the front door! This has a lovely texture to it - I can almost taste the gingerbread.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Cheryl: the house does look very delicious! I'd risk being turned into a frog just to nibble on it. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is great. The medium is perfect for that confectionery look. I wanted to illustrate this story too. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThis IS really sweet, and all my favorite colors! I would pick this off a shelf in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and whimsical...love it :)
ReplyDeleteSuch vibrant colors!!! Well done. This is very welcoming and warm.
ReplyDeleteHi Lauren, the colors you've used are scrumptious! And I love the title curling up within the smoke :)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! You guys are so sweet :) Pen, I loved your story - it was so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI really like this! It's very intriguing! I also like how it's drawn- it's perfect for a children's book!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if it's the colors, the medium or the content that makes this illustration so appealing! Maybe all three! :D Love it :) Good luck!
